One size does not fit all when it comes to aesthetics… which is why I approach every face with fresh eyes and tailor bespoke treatments according to your individual requirements.

This woman came to me with a very common concern among my patients. She felt that her lower face had begun to sag, with more pronounced nasolabial folds and fine lines – which happens to everyone as we age. This is caused by factors including collagen break down, bone and volume loss, as fat pads reduce and we retain less elasticity in our skin.

I offer multiple treatment options for each of these elements and in this case, used a layering technique, where two different treatments are used in combination to achieve optimum results.

Layer 1: Rebuilding Facial Foundations

I began by rebuilding the structure of my patient's lower face – replacing lost bone density, volume and fat pads with Belotero Balance, a soft dermal filler. I injected this superficially (just below surface) by cannula, using a fanning technique – to add structure and strengthen the skin tissue.

Layer 2: Smoothing the Surface

I then went in with Belotero Revive, an injectable collagen skin booster with super-hydrating glycerol – to add a smoothing layer of moisture directly below the skin's surface. Unlike dermal filler, this has a cumulative effect over time – enhancing skin texture by helping to smooth, tighten and brighten, reducing laxity and leaving skin plump and glowing.

The Results

As you can see, this blanket layering technique has softened, lifted and refreshed my patient's features beautifully. She was so delighted with the results that she sent me this beautiful selfie 3 weeks post-treatment!
