I'm delighted to introduce an innovative new treatment at Aspire, Belfast:  Radiesse.  A dermal filler, but not as you know it, Radiesse both restores volume and rejuvenates the skin.

What is Radiesse?

Radiesse is a biostimulator dermal filler made from calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres suspended in a gel-like solution. Calcium hydroxylapatite is a substance found naturally in the body, making Radiesse biocompatible and reducing the risk of adverse reactions.

Its unique composition sets it apart from other fillers – making it versatile for addressing many signs of ageing.

How does Radiesse work?

When injected, Radiesse instantly contours, while stimulating collagen and elastin over time for smoother, firmer skin – for longer-lasting, natural-looking rejuvenation.

What can Radiesse do for me?

Radiesse offers a holistic approach to facial aesthetics and is particularly effective for:

  • smoothing out nasolabial folds (lines or creases from nose to mouth corners)
  • softening marionette lines (from mouth corners to jawline)
  • contouring the chin and jawline for sharper definition
  • enhancing cheek contours
  • rejuvenating crepey skin on hands
  • treating signs of ageing on the neck

What does Radiesse treatment involve?

Treatment is quick and relatively painless, lasting around 30 mins with results visible immediately. While some patients may experience mild swelling or redness post-treatment, these generally subside within a few days.

How long do the Results from Radiesse last?

Unlike hyaluronic acid dermal fillers needing frequent touch-ups, Radiesse offers long-lasting results of up to two years – making it a convenient, low maintenance option.

The immediate results and long-lasting effects make Radiesse a very attractive option. I find the results extremely natural and my patients have been delighted with the outcome to date. Read more in this post on before and after treating my patient with Radiesse.
